Q: What steps do I take as I look into getting new countertops?
A: We like our customer to come see the showroom to get ideas going. When you come you can bring in a dimensioned layout of your countertops and we can give you a quote while you are here. Otherwise we can come to you to do a rough measure to give you a price that way.
Once you decide to order we will set up a time to measure. If its a replacement top we are able to leave your existing tops as we measure and will not need them out until we come to install new tops. If its new construction or all new cabinets we need to wait to measure until all cabinets are set.
Q: How long does it take to get new countertops?
A: About 6 weeks from time of measure, if you pre-order lead time shortens
Q: Who would remove and dispose of existing tops?
A: The homeowner is welcome to do so, otherwise we will do removal/dispose of the existing tops for a small charge.
Q: What types of countertops do you offer?
A: We offer Solid Surface (such as Corian), Quartz and Granite.
Q: What are your showroom hours?
A: We are here Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:00pm. We also welcome appointments for any evening or weekend.
Q: Do you just do countertops?
A: At this time we just specialize in Corian, Quartz and Granite surfaces, including countertops, showers, tub surrounds and more. In addition we also offer a nice sink and faucet line. If you are looking for tile backsplash, cabinets or flooring we would be happy to give you referrals of professionals we have worked with in the past.
Q: How do I care for my new countertops?
A: For your every day cleaning, you can just use mild soapy water and its best if you towel dry after. If you need a deeper clean you could use soft scrub or just about any cleaner you use as long as it doesn't contain acetone. In additional Granite countertops must also be sealed about once a year. You can buy Granite sealer from us or most box stores.
